Introduction to the Experimental Center

The Architectural Engineering Experimental Center is an important experimental base at Suqian University. Selected as the Jiangsu Provincial Civil Engineering Practical Education Center in 2012, it was designated the "Suqian Key Laboratory of Building Seismic Fortification Technology" and "Suqian Modern Engineering Surveying Engineering Technology Research Center" in 2015. In 2020, it was named the Jiangsu Provincial Prefabricated Building and Intelligent Construction Engineering Research Center, and in 2023, recognized as the Jiangsu Provincial Science Popularization Base for Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction.

The center spans a total construction area of 9,600 square meters, housing 40 standard experimental classrooms and one structural testing hall. It features six specialized teaching laboratories: Building Structures, Building Materials, Geomatics Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering and Transportation Engineering. With over ¥25 million in equipment assets, the center operates more than 2,100 experimental setups, including 26 large-scale instruments valued above ¥100,000 each. Key facilities include: MTS pseudo-dynamic loading system (US), Fatigue testing system, 5,000 kN computer-controlled electro-hydraulic servo long-column testing machine, Electronic servo universal testing machine, Trimble TX8 3D laser scanner (US).

This infrastructure comprehensively supports all experimental and practical teaching requirements for the discipline, ensuring the quality of applied talent cultivation at our institution.
