In order to deepen academic collaboration and jointly enhance discipline development and talent cultivation, a delegation from the Urban Construction College of Changzhou University, led by Dean Qiao Yuanming, visited our school for a research exchange on the afternoon of June 19. The event was held in Conference Room E209 and chaired by Associate Dean Xu Weikai.
The exchange began with a welcome speech by Dean Zhu Fangzhi, who extended warm greetings to the visiting delegation and provided an overview of our school's development history, educational philosophy, and achievements in discipline construction. Dean Qiao Yuanming then elaborated on the Urban Construction College's profile, academic programs, and recent development highlights, establishing a solid foundation for future collaboration.
During the interactive session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics, including program development in engineering management and intelligent construction, laboratory planning, innovative talent cultivation models, and industry-education integration. The productive dialogue resulted in consensus on multiple cooperative initiatives.
This exchange further strengthened mutual understanding and trust between the two institutions. Both parties agreed to leverage this opportunity to establish regular communication mechanisms and deepen practical cooperation in areas such as joint program development, shared experimental platforms, and faculty training. Together, they aim to explore innovative pathways for collaborative development in higher engineering education in the new era.
The event reflects our school's ongoing commitment to fostering partnerships that advance academic excellence and industry relevance. Future collaborative projects are expected to emerge from this fruitful exchange.
