On the morning of March 25, Professor Yang Xiaoguang, Honorary Dean of the
School of Civil Engineering and Architectural, Suqian University, led a research team of the Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure System (CVIS) project, including Professor Zhou Shengbo, Associate Professor Li Zeliang and Dr. Liu Xiangru, to Suqian Economic Development Zone for a special exchange and investigation on the construction of smart city roads and vehicle-road cooperative demonstration projects for CVIS.
Meng Kai, Deputy Director of Suqian Economic Development Zone, warmly received the research team. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on core topics such as the application of CVIS technology, smart city road construction, and the implementation of demonstration projects. They also explored potential areas for university-government-enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry, education and research, laying a solid foundation for follow-up project connection and talent cultivation cooperation.
After the meeting, accompanied by Deputy Director Meng, Professor Yang Xiaoguang and his entourage visited relevant enterprises in the Development Zone. They gained a detailed understanding of the enterprises' project progress, technological research and development and practical achievements in the fields of intelligent transportation and CVIS. This visit further clarified the development needs of local industries, providing strong references for the precise alignment of the college's relevant majors with local industries.
This exchange activity has effectively built a communication bridge between the college, the local Economic Development Zone and enterprises. It helps the college keep abreast of the cutting-edge development of the smart city and intelligent transportation industry, promotes the in-depth integration of
civil engineering and architectural majors with local key industries, and effectively improves the adaptability of talent cultivation to local industrial demands.
