Recently, the Center for Educational Technology and Resources Development of the Ministry of Education (Central Audio-Visual Education Institute) announced the selection results of 2025 Teachers' Artificial Intelligence Application Cases. The case "From Engineering Site to Classroom: Innovative Practice of Experimental Teaching in Engineering Surveying Courses Driven by Digital Twin" declared by Teacher Guo Bing from the School of Civil Engineering and Architectural was successfully selected as a typical case.
Aiming at the problems existing in the experimental teaching of engineering surveying courses, such as insufficient supply of experimental resources, lack of engineering background in experimental content, and insufficient personalized experimental guidance, this case jointly developed an "Intelligent Surveying Virtual Simulation Teaching System" through a university-enterprise collaborative co-construction model. The system deeply integrates UAV oblique photography, 3D laser scanning and BIM technology to accurately reproduce real engineering scenarios, dynamically generates multi-working-condition tasks with the help of AIGC engine, and introduces an AI tutoring module to realize real-time error correction and personalized evaluation. Finally, it constructs a replicable and promotable new teaching paradigm of "scalable scenarios, dynamic tasks and precise guidance".
It is reported that after provincial and national recommendations, a total of 397 higher education teachers' cases were selected, including 47 innovative cases, 85 typical cases and 265 cultivation cases. A total of 29 cases in Jiangsu Province were selected, including 5 innovative cases, 5 typical cases and 19 cultivation cases.
The selection of this case marks an important breakthrough in the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence with education and teaching in our college. Taking this as a new starting point, the college will further integrate artificial intelligence technology and teaching resources, continuously empower teachers' development and talent training, and provide solid support for the cultivation of high-quality talents in the digital era.
