Nanjing, China - From July 4 to 6, the Fundamental Mechanics Experiment Contest of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial College Student Mechanics Competition was successfully held at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The competition, consisting of three components - a written test on experimental principles, basic electrical measurement experiments, and comprehensive electrical measurement experiments - attracted participation from numerous university teams across Jiangsu province.

A five-member team from our School of Architectural Engineering, comprising 2023-level Civil Engineering students Liu Boyu, Lu Yapei, Liu Kunyu, Zhou Deyu, and Ji Lixin, demonstrated outstanding performance under the guidance of faculty advisors Li Jie and Cheng Saiwei. Despite challenging high-temperature conditions during their preparation, the team maintained rigorous training. Their composure during the competition, coupled with strong professional competence and exceptional teamwork, earned them the Group Second Prize in this prestigious event.

Jointly organized by the Jiangsu College Mechanics Competition Committee, Jiangsu Provincial Mechanics Society, and Jiangsu Higher Education Mechanics and Civil Engineering Teaching Guidance Committee, with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics as the host institution, this competition serves as a significant platform in the field of mechanics education. The event aims to foster students' innovative thinking and practical skills while facilitating exchanges and advancements in mechanics experiment teaching methodologies among higher education institutions.

This achievement highlights our school's commitment to excellence in engineering education and student development. Through such competitive platforms, students gain invaluable hands-on experience that complements their theoretical knowledge, effectively preparing them for future professional challenges in the engineering field. The success underscores our institution's dedication to cultivating well-rounded engineering talents with both academic prowess and practical capabilities.
